This is a very nice and clean 1999 Mazda Miata MX-5 with 67803 miles. The car has averaged less then 6200 miles per year, thats pretty low considering most drivers put 15000 miles per year on a vehicle. Mechanically I personally drive all the vehicles I sell for a few days before I get the serviced, this gives me a great idea on how they run and drive. I drove this one for a week and put around 200 miles on and it. I have had several Miatas but have not had one for quite some time, I forgot how fun they were to drive. The car drives great on the highway with cruise control set at 70 mph and it does great in town as well. There are no vibrations in the steering wheel at highway speeds and no abnormal drive train noise. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It starts right up every morning and idles very smooth when in neutral. The engine accelerates without any hesitation or jerking and the transmission shifts smooth through all 5 gears with no issues. The clutch feels very solid with no slippage during acceleration. There are no issues with the car at all and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it to Florida and back. They have a huge following and people usually buy them and hang on to them for several years. Electrical The heat works great, cruise control works, power windows work and so does the radio. Exterior The car was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows, it was more then likely kept in the garage because the paint is very glossy. Interior The interior is very clean. The driver leather seat has very minimal wear on it. Nothing abnormal considering the age. Its a non smoker vehicle with no burn holes anywhere. This is a well kept 1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata with 49,363 miles. The car has averaged right around 4100 miles per year, that's really low considering most drivers put 12,000-15,000 miles per year on a vehicle. The over all condition of the paint is in great shape with no rust or clear coat issues. It was more then likely garage kept because the paint has a very deep gloss to it. The rocker panels are rust free and there is no rust underneath the car either. The interior is very clean, carpet & floor mats look great with no unusual stains and the leather seats do not have any abnormal wear on them. Mechanically the car is in great shape. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates without any hesitation and the engine does not make any abnormal noises during acceleration or at idle. The transmission shifts smooth through all 5 gears with no issues and the clutch feels great with no slippage during acceleration. The streering feels nice and tight with no abnormal play, and the suspension makes no unusual noises when going over bumps on the road. It a well kept Miata and I wouldnt hesitate to take it on a 1000 mile round trip. Within the last 10 miles I had the car fully serviced and inspected. The mechanic put it up on a lift and inspected the oil level & condition of the transmission and rear end. The transmission & rear end oil was full and clean with no leaks. He replaced the oil & filter and all other maintenance was up to date and the car comes with a nationwide warranty at no cost. The warranty is good at any Mazda dealership and is a $0 deductible coverage. These Miatas are known to last a long time, very low maintenance and just a blast to drive. The vehicle has averaged right around 1,500 miles per year, that's low considering most average drivers put 8,000-10,000 miles per year on " weekend " vehicle. The previous owner was retired and used this car for summer/weekend drives. The lower rocker panels & lower fenders are 100% rust free ( see photos ), and the under-carriage is very clean with no corrosion. The interior is also very clean, seats are in great shape, carpet & floor mats are clean with no spots, door panels & the dash is very clean with no fading or rips, there are no odors in the vehicle either ( non smoker ). None of the body panels have been replaced and all factory vin tags are present ( see photos ) mechanically the miata is in excellent shape. I put a total of 60 miles on it and the car runs excellent. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates smooth and shifts smooth through all 5 gears with no issues. It drives nice at highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) with no abnormal noises and it drives great in town. It's just a very well kept vehicle and i wouldn't hesitate to drive it to florida and back. Within the last 10 miles we had the car fully serviced and inspected by a ase certified mechanic. He put it up on a lift and inspected the under-carriage ( no oil or coolant leaks ). The engine oil looked new but i asked him to replace the oil & filter anyway, within the last 2500 miles all 4 tires were replaced and the catalytic converter was replaced with a new one. The paperwork is available showing the tires & catalytic converter being replaced when the car had around 19,500 miles. All other maintenance was up to date and the car comes with a nationwide warranty at no cost. The car has some nice factory installed options and here are a few: leather seats, torsion limited slip differential, premium bose sound system, glass rear window with defroster, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, alloy wheels, a/c and it also has the tonneau cover for the convertible top and a miata car cover. It also comes with 2 sets of keys, original owners manual and original window sticker. A copy of the carfax report & autocheck report is available showing the accident free owner history. It's hard to find a 14 year old car with 22,000 original miles, most of these have changed hands 4 to 5 ( or more ) times, some have been modified and some have had an accident or two. The color is called twilight blue mica and it has a metallic flake in the paint. The over all condition of the paint is in great shape with no rust or clear coat issues. It was more then likely garage kept because the paint has a very deep gloss to it. Walking around the car the paint is in great shape and has a very deep gloss, the rocker panel is rust free and there is no rust underneath the car either. The interior is very clean, carpet & floor mats look great with no unusual stains and the leather seats are very clean. This is a 2 owner miata with no prior accidents. Carfax & autocheck report is available. The first owner had the car up until 2008 when it had around 29,000 miles, he used it as a weekend/summer vehicle. Second owner bought it in 2008 and used it as a 3rd car during the spring/summer months. These miatas are known to last a long time, very low maintenance and just a blast to drive. Brakes, tires, oil changes and a new oem catalytic converter installed at the mazda dealer. The most most important maintenance was done at 50,000 miles.
