The vehicle has averaged right around 4,000 miles per year, not bad considering most average drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle. The previous owner took very good care of the car and it shows. It was more than likely garage kept because the paint looks excellent with a deep glossy shine, there is no clear coat issues or rust anywhere on the car and the undercarriage is very clean. The interior is also very clean with no unusual stains on the carpet, the leather seats are in great shape and there are no odors in the vehicle either ( non smoker ). It has several nice options and here are a few: heated leather seats, power sunroof, dual power seats, alpine factory cd changer, abs brakes, power windows, locks & mirrors, cruise control, factory chrome wheels and more. Mechanically the car is in great shape. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates nice and shifts smooth through all gears with no unusual noises. It drives very smooth at highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) with no vibrations or unusual noises and the suspension does not make any abnormal noises when going over bumps on the road. It's just a very well kept vehicle and i wouldn't hesitate to drive it on a 1000 mile round trip. Within the last 10 miles we had the car fully serviced and inspected by a ase certified mechanic. He put it up on a lift and inspected the undercarriage ( no oil or coolant leaks ). He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission & it was full and clean. He replaced the engine oil & filter, turned the front rotors and all other maintenance was up to date, the car also comes with a nation-wide warranty at no cost. These 4. 6l v8 engines are very reliable and have been around for a long time. Ford/lincoln uses this engine in the lincoln town car, lincoln navigator, ford expedition, ford f-150 trucks and the ford mustang gt. A lot of these have well over 150,000 miles and still in good running condition, this one has right around 53,000 miles and a lot of life left. They are known to last a long time and this would make someone a great vehicle for several more years.
